DIY: Collar Necklace

Happy Victoria Day to everyone! 

Plus, "Happy Birthday to my sister" too! Hope all of you guys enjoy your day off and spending time with your family or even catch up with some sleep.

Since it's a long weekend, I ended up working on another DIY  project, this DIY  project was actually requested to me by one of my twitter followers. And well, today I finally had the opportunity to show case on how I would make my very own collar necklace. The collar necklace trend start in the fall of 2011 and sadly, I was never a huge fan of the whole concept. Since I felt as it was choking my neck - yes I know it sounds a little childish, but in fact I really did feel that way. Therefore, I did my best to stay way from that trend until today. Finally after a few hours on deciding on how I want it to look, I eventually ended up created a beaded collar necklace. However, I still ain't sure on how I would add this to my daily wardrobe, but I sure I will come up with an stunning look (I would love to hear your suggestion on how to think I should pair this necklace). Well, as always in the collage below, I have included my newest DIY Tutorial  and all the instructions are also included in the collage.

DIY: 4-Strand Twisted Bracelet

From the title of this post you could have already guessed that this is another DIY post. 

Recently, I have become more creative and I am extremely product of all my DIY  projects. 

So, you can expect more DIY  post for the upcoming months 

( DIY projects like: Assymmetrical skirt, Off-Should Top, Key Hole Top, Bow inspired Bracelet, Collar Necklace and etc).

Hope this news excites all of you, since my  DIY are one of the biggest readers choice for this year so far.

For instance last year, I only did three  DIY project, however this year in five months I already did about ten  DIY projects, which is a huge success for me. 

Since it's something I really enjoy working on.

Hot Flames Featuring Vedette Shapewear

Recently, I received an amazing opportunity to work with Vedette Shapewear to conduct a product review and also a giveaway to three of my subscribers. 

To be frank, I really enjoyed conducting a review with them again. 

Plus, the share my love with the item by Vedette Shapewear, I decided to created a photo collage on how I would wear this out. 

I decided to many this outfit - "HOT FLAMES" since the skirt is rocking hot!  Yes, it particular looks likes flames, but it's just a ombra inspired skirt, which my dad bought for me a few year back from his trip to Sri Lanka. Furthermore, this outfit also includes a vest  (brown vest filled with orange gems, that can't be seen on the photos), this vest just adds a rocker vibe to this girly look. 

Also, to add more rock to the look, I included a pair of brown ankle boots, rather than pair it up with a pair of high heels.

Overall, I love this outfit and it's perfect for warmer weather.

It really breathable and it’s perfect for the summer.

Overall I've been very impressed.

Plus, I would definitely do an outfit of the day post on how I would wear this corset in my daily lifestyle (since it was a requested topic in my recently clothing post).

Yes or No & DIY: Flower Accents

Yes or No!

Two of the smallest words, in our dictionaries. 

However, both of them hold a huge capability of changing our life pathways. 

In our every day lifestyle, we face questions which depends on a simple, 

yes or no! 

This answer could change everything. 

"It's just one little word"  

that could change the whole perspective. 

For some reason, as human beings we struggle when it comes to a basic question with a simple answer, 

yes or no. 

Furthermore, what I found more interesting is that when I was growing up, 

I used to believe that it was only me who struggled. 

However, I am really happy to state the fact that I am not alone and there is a huge group that can agree with my statement. 

Life is just hard and with all the stress, making choices sucks. 

 

Overall, the main conclusion to this topic is that in life some decisions have to be made. 

Whether we like it or not, we have to make the move. 

The move can take us up or even down, 

but it up to us to put a brave face on as we choose to pick the answer, 

yes or no. 

Since, at the end of the day it's us who faces the rewards or punishment from our choice. 

So, whether it's a yes or no, it's all us who faces it. 

Therefore, think hard and pick a choice that you feel is right.

DIY & Relax

This is a quick post - really quick post. Just a quick recap of what I have been up too. 

For some reason, I feel as if I haven't posted for awhile and the guilt feeling keeps rising each day. So, without anything furthered to do decided to post a little journal of what I have been up too. Also, in addition I added a quick tutorial of "How to make a tank top" - this was a recent readers request.

Since the last blog post, I have been feeling lazy and yes I did say lazy. I have been trying to catching up with some sleep and TV (mainly my baseball games & shows). Other than that nothing else new - really my life have been boring and slowing down. Also, I am working on some new segments for my blog, plus I am trying to get more focused on making some videos for my youtube readers too (maybe more artist videos). If you have any suggestions please be free to send me a message.

Here are some ideas and segments I came up with so far: Style File Fridays (A segment of posts and videos related to Fashion, Beauty Tips & Ideas), Foodie (A segment filled with recipes and food ides - health tips), Creative Projects (A segment filled with my art & crafts projects), My Tips (A segment filled with tips to reuse, recycle & restore - even restyle) and finally most requested Outfits. Furthermore, I will be doing some traveling this summer with my family and might do some vlog posts or even videos. Other than that I will be more broad in my next blog post.
