It's officially the month of August... and have anyone realized that the year 2011 is almost over! It surprises me a ton, since every year I used to complain that the month of June & July are the slowest months. However this year, it already done! To come to think of it, I haven't even done anything during those two months (for instances my blog - didn't write many post as I had planned) but still I ended up having lectures four days a week and work. What do you think? Is this year, 2011 going fast or is it just me?
This post is going be DIY project/Revamp. It's actually an answer to one of my reader's question.
Michelle asked: "Hey Harija, i hve a pair of flats, i luv... but it got out of style and i dont knoe wat 2 do w/ it. can u do a post on how 2 change something old 2 look brand new w/ style? Pls make it really really simple"
So, thank you Michelle for this lovely question and here is my post dedicated to your question!
(Hope you and my readers like it)
Since it's the first week of a new month (August) I decided to do a revamp post.
Here is a simple two step tutorial on how to add little glam to your plain pair of flats.
I used my gray flats since I had it for a while and plus I wear it mostly everywhere (since it goes with everything in my closet).
List of items:
- Pair of flats
- Something cute to add on
- Glue Gun
- Glue Stick
Then the steps are clearly simple!
1) Heat up the glue gun and place the glue stick in the slot.
2) Then use the hot glue and place one of the small bow on one of flats and do this step again to the next flat.
Then just leave to dry, but that only takes a few seconds. After that you can wear out where ever you what.
It's really simple and the finished product also looks awesome!
Hope you all like my first ever DIY/Revamp project and hope this helps you Michelle. Also, thank you asking me this question.
If you have any questions that you would like to address me be free to message me @MyLyfeMyStory
Also, this month I would definitely do more post and have a lovely day!
